My element is Lanthanum (La) the atomic number for it is 57. The word Lanthanum comes from a greek word Lanthano that means to lie hidden.A Swedish man named Carl Gustaf Mosander discovered it in cerium. Lanthanum is found in glasses, they help the reflective service since I love nerd glasses I decided to draw them to represent Lanthanum.I used linoleum with my sketch and began to take away parts of it that I did not want. I had fun making the print I really liked scratching the excess away. I have been printing my tablet over and over with paint rolled onto it and pressed up against a paper, trying to make a really good print. Next time I would like to reverse how I made my linoleum tile I took away around the drawing leaving a lot of negative space but if I were to do this project again I would want to do more positive space.
